10 years working to combat climate change
RdA Climate Solutions was created ten years ago with the aim of supporting different organizations to minimize their impact and face the challenges caused by climate change, as we believe that the most adverse effects can still be minimized, however, global and immediate action is needed to limit greenhouse gas emissions and adapt organizations and territories to the changes that are already observable.
European Union islands leading the energy transition
Due to their geographical, climatic, and socioeconomic characteristics, islands face specific challenges concerning energy production and consumption. In certain archipelagos or islands, being isolated systems, energy production is expensive and heavily dependent on fossil fuels. In this regard, the European Commission's Clean energy for EU islands initiative aims to transform these challenges into opportunities, with the goal of making Europe's island communities leaders in innovation in the energy transition, as well as supporting islands in producing their own energy from renewable sources.

New Circular Business Models
The current linear model of resource extraction is incompatible with new public policies and the needs of companies and industry to face environmental risks and the scarcity of raw materials, the finite nature of fossil fuels, and the long-distance import of materials. New business models are emerging in response to the urgency for sustainable green progress, transitioning from a linear model based on consumption and waste to a circular system that extends the lifespan of materials and products.
